Robert D. Gatewood, Emeritus Professor at the University of Georgia, completed his Ph.D. in industrial psychology at Purdue University. He began his career as a consultant before transitioning to academia as a faculty member in the Department of Management at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. Over the years, he held both faculty and administrative roles, including Department Chair and Associate Dean in the College of Business. Bob also served in five executive positions within the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management, including as its President. During this time, he consulted for several firms and taught in numerous executive education programs.
