Lenita M. Davis

Lenita M. Davis, Ph.D. is the Director of the Center for Sales and Sales Management at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire (UW–EC). Prior to this appointment, Dr. Davis served as the Executive Director of the Professional Sales Program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and was the founding director of the Sales Program at the University of Alabama.

While establishing the University of Alabama Sales Program, she collaborated with Interact Technology to develop a system that enables professors to record and critique student role plays and presentations. This technology is now used by over 30 universities and colleges. Dr. Davis is an Executive Board Member of the University Sales Center Alliance and spearheaded the Global Sales Research Initiative for the American Marketing Association’s Sales Special Interest Group.

A prolific scholar, Dr. Davis is frequently published in leading academic journals, with her work cited more than 3,000 times. In addition to her academic career, she has over a decade of managerial experience, including roles at Procter & Gamble’s Paper Division and the James River Corporation.

Dr. Davis is a proud HBCU graduate of Tuskegee University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. She also holds an MBA from Xavier University and a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati.

Outside of work, Dr. Davis and her husband, Ken, enjoy traveling and spending time with their daughters, Kiah, Martinique, and Zarri.
