Nancy Misercola

As Account Executive, Nancy Misercola is focused on providing the best client support to the professors and students who place their trust in Wessex Press, Inc. as a more affordable alternative to traditional textbook publishers. Nancy’s responsibilities include identifying sales leads, and managing relationships with the instructors who adopt Wessex titles and the students who purchase them.

Nancy returned to her publishing roots when she joined Wessex Learning in 2018, having started her career in trade publishing. She worked her way up from editorial assistant to managing editor at a startup magazine that helped bankers integrate technology – before personal computers were ubiquitous–beyond the back office.

Nancy is a highly skilled writer, editor and project manager. She has extensive experience in business writing and editing, as well as public relations, employee/internal and corporate communications, and as an editorial consultant. Nancy was the internal communications manager for Duracell, when it was the worldwide battery unit of the Gillette Company, producing all employee and HR communications, and providing communications counsel to senior management.

She also served as senior writer and account manager for employee benefit firm Towers Perrin, where she developed marketing communications programs for HR consultants. Nancy received her B.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University.

Nancy is excited to be part of the Wessex Press team and looks forward to helping Wessex continue to reshape the textbook publishing mold.

“As a parent of two college students, I’m all too aware of the high cost of textbooks. I’m proud to be working toward changing that paradigm.”
