Anna Botelho
Anna Botelho has more than 35 years in the graphic design business. She started her career as a computer programming pioneer in the late 1970s, in the planning department of a major UK catalog firm.
Anna literally has experienced the evolution of graphic design. After moving to the United States in 1981, she became a typesetter and worked on the A&M Addressograph.
Anna also worked with the Varityper, which was a highly ingenious “word processor” of the pre-digital age. Anna apprenticed in true graphic design and even worked with the Compugraphic machine, when it was at the vanguard of what was then considered a revolution in the graphic arts: “cold type.”
Today, Anna is a big fan of the Mac.
